Better Now than Never I Guess…

After much contemplation, I have decided to make a blog for my website. However, there is one very important thing that I should lay out:

I am absolutely garbage at posting consistently. Ever since my online days on DeviantArt waaaay back in 2007 (or was it 2009? I can’t quite remember…), I discovered that I have never been able to post more than 5-10 pieces of art within a given year. As I have gotten older and as the heath of my hand declined, the rate in which I post art has decreased significantly. Now, I am lucky if am able to get a single piece of art out within a given year. Just note that if there are ever long gaps in posting, I did not fade from existence. I am still very much active, and I am either working irl or slowing creating art.

I have also come to accept that by posting inconsistently, garnering any attention with my art, my site, and my social media account is a battle that I am okay with loosing. At this point in my life, all I want to do is create art that I love and talk about things that interests me. Worry about engagement and trying to battle with an algorithm that, from what I noticed, does not treat artists well is something that I honestly have neither the time nor patience to deal with. If only one person knows who I am and love what what I create, that is enough to make me happy.

With this being said, you are free to treat DAP.ART as a site to visit every now and then. You can also do the same for my Instagram, which is dap_artz. I promise if you forget then suddenly remember their existence, you won’t miss much. I also have a VGEN, but it will only be used for commissions that I hope to request from others in the future.

To whomever reads this post, thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!
